Landell Mills was founded in Bath in 1975 by John Landell Mills and others to carry out research and to provide management services in the natural resource sectors.

Nowadays, Landell Mills is one of the world’s leading international development consulting firms. Our mission is to assist our clients to participate actively in the global economy whilst protecting fragile environments and vulnerable communities in the process.

We aim to provide hands-on, experienced project staff for our assignments and to back them up with competent and responsive supervision as well as strong administrative and financial support.

Our experience covers natural resource and water management; climate change; markets, enterprise and trade; agriculture, fisheries, food security and nutrition; policy dialogue and governance.

We estimate that we have completed almost 700 projects on all continents, involving some 150 countries. We employ 30 staff at our head office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, UK, and we engage numerous additional people on our projects throughout the world.
