Child.org’s Shindig: Networking & knowledge-sharing event
Event Description
Child.org is hosting our annual “Shindig” celebration in Bristol on April 21st from 7pm (The Square Club, Bristol), where we’ll be joined by our CEO and Programmes Manager who are flying in to join us from Kenya. It’s a chance for us to share and celebrate our wins in maternal and child health work in Kenya, network and discuss the organisation’s future plans.
We’d love to extend an invite to SWIDN members interested in networking. We know it can be a little awkward (another charity – gah!) but we are keen to champion and harness networking opportunities so we can share and learn, so if anyone is interested, please feel free to join us – drop our Fundraising & Comms Officer Hattie an email (hattie@child.org) or follow this link to RSVP.
There will be food, a bar and music.
About Child.org
Child.org is a data-driven global health charity working to champion maternal and child health in Kenya, where neonatal mortality rates have barely changed in the last five years. We work with local parents, communities and government to: provide life-saving antenatal and postnatal health information to parents; connect at-risk mums and babies with the healthcare services they need; work with local health authorities to advocate for and improve the quality of perinatal care. Our projects have been life-saving.
Our team is based between Bristol (fundraising/finance) and Nairobi and Meru in Kenya (programming).
